Well, this morning was quite unusual and FUN. I always bring a ziplock bag of

my sprouts and dump them on my breakfast sandwich.Been doing this for years now.

I've given away little bags and sunnies and chia and whatever. So recently one

of the breakfasters requested I bring her a ziplock bag of sprouts so she could

try them on her egg sandwich (this was yesterday, as I know I told you all). She

loved them, and I had asked her if she wanted some chia. She said " yeah, I'd

like to taste these things before I start to sprout them " .

Well!!!!! I had a lightbulb moment. These people have seen my sprouts in bags

and sunnies in little trays, and my popcorn sprouts in a little tray... but they

have NEVER seen my sprouts growing in their round green SproutGarden Trays.

So......along with a little ziplock bag filled with more sprouts and a tiny bag

with some chia, I brought along one of my round green trays BURSTING with plump

broccoli,alfalfa,clover, radish and fenugreek sprouts.

I didn't make a video because I didn't want to invade anyone's privacy. But let

me tell you what happened.

I'm giving the ziplock bag of sprouts and the teeny bag of chia to one of the

ladies and I happened to say " , would you like to say exactly how these

were grown, I mean you know how they look now but I want to show you what I grow

them in " .

She said " oh you brought your sprouting trays here? "

I said 'no, just one, with the cover " So I take out the tray (with cover on)

and I said 'Now imagine 7 of these all stacked up using no more than 6 inches of

counter space "

People started coming over (and the waitress)

I did like Copperfield when he takes the cover off of a plate and there's

a rabbit on the plate.

As I take the cover off, I said 'VOILA!!!! You now have sprouts "

Well, you should have seen their faces.

they had NEVER seen this before. The quantity of sprouts in one tray was

amazing.

The waitress came over and said 'I want to put some on my sandwich "

So I gave her some sprouts right out of the tray.

She serves everyone their coffee etc, and she sits down at her little table and

adds the sprouts to her sandwich.

I never laughed so hard.

She starts going " OMG, this is fabulous, why didn't you tell me how fabulous

this is " . I said 'Susie, I've been telling you this for years, it's because you

have now seen exactly how they grow that you got interested "

She then announces " I want sprouts for breakfast every morning "

She comes in a few times a week. I said 'would you like to grow your own

sprouts? " She said 'oh no, I just want to eat them "

With that, everybody burst out laughing, I gave another sprout lecture and some

people are actually interested.

I have a lot of those little snack ziplock bags. So when I bring some sprouts

for me, I'll bring her a little bag too.

Small price to pay for all the coffee I get in the morning and all the nice

conversation with the waitresses and the other regulars.

I'll have all of them sprouting for themselves in no time.

I want to get her hooked on sprouts first.

And the other lady who I gave the bag of sprouts to yesterday announced:

" Do you know that I didn't eat any bread during the day. I didn't have any

cravings "

I said'See, your sprouts are talking to you " .

We all laughed.

One little step for sprouts, one giant leap for mankind!!!

lol
