Guest guest
I just hope that the state of New York is ready for Melody. ew Brought some bags of sprouts to my dentist today!! Well!! What an interesting day. Alan and I went into NYC to my dentist (the absolute best dentist). His name is Dr. Krochak and he's a dental phobia expert as well as a top cosmetic dentist who does veneers, and everything. At my last cleaning, his dental hygienist was listening to me talk about my sprouting and I told her " next time I'll bring you some " . Well I never forgot. Today I walked in with 2 bags of Mothers Mix and bag of pea shoots. I told the dental hygienist " The sprouts are for you and the dentist and you can also take the pea shoots and do whatever you want with them " . After explaining exactly what the heck pea shoots were, well she was amazed. Then the dentist walked in. I was saying 'Hi Dr. Krochak, I brought you some.......and I never got to say the word SPROUTS. His eyes got all wide and he said " OH I LOVE THESE " . I LOVE SPROUTS " . He looked at me and said: " You know about Sprouts???? " I looked at him and said " are you kidding? " and I took out my Flip and showed him my living room garden shelves. Well, you should have seen the two of them looking at my video. MY DENTIST AND MY DENTAL HYGIENIST. All laughing and going ooooh and aaaah. I said " if I had known this, I would have brought you BAGS. not little ziplock things " . I said " NEXT TIME " . They adored the bags of sprouts. And then as he left, she said 'He loves Flax, he eats it every morning " . and I said: " OMG, I sprout Flax all the time " . and she said " You can sprout Flax " ? I then went into a talk about what I sprout and how I sprout. And I just put some videos on sprouting on her FB wall. She wants to try some sprouting with her daughter. Now how cool is this?? lol Melody
Guest guest
Wow! I agree with EW, watch out NY. Congratulations Melody and wasn't that a great pick up? Maybe I need to do pea shoots.  I ordered a food saver and lids to be able to vacuum seal them. I think I'll put the can of sunnies, same place you got those others, and put them in the freezer and then I'll open the can and sprout some and then secure the others in mason jars or in vacuum bags so if it has eggs of bugs that they will die from lack of oxygen, I hope. But don't know if I can get over the idea that there might be organic bugs in organic sunnies. Yuch! I can understand that, but it seems unacceptable. I'll probably buy more from Sprout House as the other things were fine. I was afraid to open the sunnies until I am ready to pack these up.  I liked the idea of a salad in a jar too and storing sprouts in vacuum packed things. Guest guest
And when I went to Breakfast this morning, I told people about my dental experience and that he liked my sprouts and that I love my dentist and one guy said " Oh, do you have a referral card? " I whipped it out. Then we all talked about a certain restaurant called The Heart Attack Grill. Google this place and watch the video. You will ALL be grateful as heck that you are now sprouting. These fools that would actually go and eat there need to have their heads examined. Melody P.S. New York BETTER be ready for me. lol > > I just hope that the state of New York is ready for Melody. > ew > > Brought some bags of sprouts to my dentist today!! > > Well!! What an interesting day. Guest guest
As a soaker sprout, does that mean I can sprout them in my easy sprout?
