It has a tank in in where you put water, then a hose that drips the water out as

the condensation drips in to the unit. The unit is slightly sloped inside so

the water runs to the drainage hose. I keep my drainage hose tucked into one of

those five gallon water bottles, so it is easy and mess free-I think in the

video he may be referring to having it set up by your sink to drain in to

it-sounds like he is overcomplicating a very simple process to me, lol Mine is

no where near my kitchen sink!

:

In one of the videos showing the Mikro farm, the camera pans to a wall (right

next to the mikro farm). There is a tube (long) that goes along the wall but

you can't see what it's for.

Now I'm imagining that with this mikro farm, there are sprinklers that turn on

and off and that this is what mists the sprouts.

Am I correct?

What you see in the video is likely the drainage tube. The tank has little

misters in it that spray the sprouts, and condensation builds up on the inside

of the unit, keeping the sprouts moist. The drainage tube is attached at the

bottom of the slight slope, allowing the water to drain as it drops down. I

think some people may attach them so they drain into a sink, but a bucket will

do fine-I like my water jug setup, since the hose won't slip out of it or the

end won't be dangling in the water in the bucket. I will be planting in mine in

the next few days, so I will take a video, just for you, Melody!
