Guest guest
I ate mostly in restaurants. There was no opportunity to get to a store and buy something healthy. We were on a tour, and our time was pretty much controlled by them. Also, when we ate and where we ate. When I had the chance to choose, I always chose fish. When you tell them that you are on a special diet, they think that means no salt. I'm pretty sure that I could have eaten better if I had had more control. We went on a river boat ride. Lunch was included. The only thing they served was beef stew, pasta salad, biscuit and a little cake for dessert. The stew was awful and I couldn't eat it. The pasta salad was ridiculous and , of course I don't eat breads or desserts. And to top it all off, the stew gave me a heart burn that you wouldn't believe. This is the second tour that we have taken. I'm pretty sure that it's going to be the last. I want to go to Alaska again, but I will chose my on plan. Every place that that tour stopped was a giant tourist trap. ew Re: Mail hacking 1. Glad you are back. 2. Sorry you got hacked. 3. What on earth did you eat in Alaska? Guest guest
Next time go to Japan. Japanese food won't kill you. They cook it in front of you. They throw it up in the air and catch it in their shits (that's what they do at Tokyo of Brooklyn and Benihana ) in NYC. I can only imagine what I would have said if I was on that tour and they served me Beef Stew, Pasta Salad and Biscuits (none of which I eat EVER). I think I would have lived on scrambled eggs if I wound up in Alaska. Or maybe BLUBBER?? Did they serve that at all? Anyway, I bet you are happy to be home with your greens and sprouts!!! Guest guest
They catch it in their WHAT??? If that's where it lands, I will stick with EW's vile beef stew, lol. Guest guest
Hearty har har. I was wondering what that might be. Being out here in the mountain boonies as I am, I have never seen anything like that. They catch the food in their ¿SHIRT? And then you eat it? I can't imagine such a thing. Guest guest
I didn't see him catch anything in his shirt. I've always enjoyed going to Benihana's because of the prsonality of the chefs and their spatula and knift twirling tricks. I think they used to toss th knives more but looks like they  twirl the spatulas now. My kids and i alwys triedto eat with the chopsticks.  Carolyn Wilkerson  ________________________________ To: sproutpeople Sent: Saturday, June 23, 2012 8:12 PM Subject: Re: Mail hacking  I am BEYOND relieved the video was about him catching it in his SHIRT! Guest guest
I think the one is email hacking but they get in to the mail and manage to get in your computer and steal credit cards, etc. and charge things to people's bank accounts, etc. Have to be careful and that is why it is better to use paypal or a charge card and never a debit card in doing business on internet. Guest guest
Watch it again Carolyn, towards the end, when he is throwing the shrimp tails in the air, he tosses one out and catches it in his shirt pocket. I've been so many times during my lifetime, I've seen them catch the shrimp tails in their chef hats and in their shirts. But my favorite is when they toss the salt and pepper shakers up in the air, toss them behind their arms, up around and over their heads and then catch them. It's a show every time. There has to be many videos on youtube of Benihana chefs doing this. Melody > > > > Here you go, keep watching. Guest guest
But shrimp tails are waste not food so he isn't catching food in his shirt. I wouldn't want to eat something that was in his pocketr.I've cleaned lint out of pockets before.   The food isn't on anything but the grill, the spatula or on the plate and sometimes he does flip it onto the plate where he could miss. I enjoy seeing them but haven't gone since I moved from Columbus, Ohio. I think I went in Dayton, OH too. Haven't been in FL at all. It is a bit pricey for us anymore, but we do enjoy it. Have a neighbor we go out with sometimes but she is picky about what she has. Won't eat shrimp. Chicken has to look like chicken or she is afraid it is dog or cat.  Carolyn Wilkerson  ________________________________ To: sproutpeople Sent: Saturday, June 23, 2012 10:28 PM Subject: Re: Mail hacking  Watch it again Carolyn, towards the end, when he is throwing the shrimp tails in the air, he tosses one out and catches it in his shirt pocket. Guest guest
5 lbs. could be waterweight from the salt in restaurant food. Don't " sweat " it, it will go away when you get back to your normal food supply. Guest guest
If you didn't gain 5 lbs on vacation you probably didn't have fun. You can get it off in a week or two. Carolyn Wilkerson  ________________________________ To: sproutpeople Sent: Saturday, June 23, 2012 1:07 PM Subject: RE: Mail hacking  I got so far off of my diet that I was ashamed off my self.
