Guest guest
How 'bout " Melody's Sprout Kitchen " ? (like a 'soup kitchen'). The nutrition of the homeless would be amazing! You could probably start a website and get donations. Guest guest
Talk to the boss and see if you can sell him some seeing as the customers like them. Might make a small bit of $$ on the side. > > This morning I brought 4 little ziplock bags to give to the Waitress, two other diners and myself. > > As we were all eating, I look at the waitress as she's enjoying her sprout and egg sandwich. Guest guest
OMG, Melody's Sprouterant!!!! How funny!!! Guest guest
When the boss saw my sprouts he burst out laughing. Other than the people who come in for breakfast, there wouldn't be a clientele for sprouts. There are truckers and sanitation guys. The owner wouldn't even try the sprouts. But we have fun and I like bringing little bags in the morning. The more the merrier, that's how I look at life right now. Melody
Guest guest
Thanks . Guest guest
Good one Dona!!! I have so much fun bringing these little ziplock bags with sprouts to the restaurant. I'm lucky the owner doesn't mind. Other places, well, they would not like people bringing in food to give out to people eating THEIR food. lol Melody > > > > This morning I brought 4 little ziplock bags to give to the Waitress, two other diners and myself. > > > > As we were all eating, I look at the waitress as she's enjoying her sprout and egg sandwich. Guest guest
I really wish I could. My husband can barely walk anymore due to his severe Neuropathy. But thankfully, we have a good sense of humor. He told the doctor the other day. " I wake up with Sprouts, I go to bed with sprouts " , lol lol Melody > > > > This morning I brought 4 little ziplock bags to give to the Waitress, > > two other diners and myself. > > > > > > > > As we were all eating, I look at the waitress as she's enjoying her > > sprout and egg sandwich. Guest guest
Hi . Sadly, his is idiopathic (although they now think it's back related). We've tried EVERYTHING known to man (including Coconut Oil). I have a Methyl B-12 page on FB because Methyl B-12 stopped my symptoms dead when I was diagnosed with Diabetic neuropathy 5 years ago. Helped me, did nothing for him because he is not diabetic. But I do thank you for thinking of Alan. Guest guest
Melody - I have a similar situation (for the past 15 years), similar to neuropathy since there is burning in my entire leg. I have some other sensations that keep my feet from feeling normal, but not the loss of sensation that your husband and some diabetics have. I may get to that point. Like him, my doctors have been unable to pinpoint a specific nerve or nerves causing the problem, so are mostly unable to help me. This was originally brought on by moving some furniture on my own. It has been a great frustration that doctors can help people with clearly far more damage than I have, but can do mostly nothing for me. I have also tried some of the typical drugs like Neurontin with no response. Please let me know if you learn about anything new from your meetings. My doctor is pretty conservative, so he may not tell me quickly about alternatives that exist. Fortunately, I'm at a point where I can sometimes get away with just telling myself to " suck it up, " but I don't have the complications that Alan has. I commend his attitude. Dona > > Carolyn: > > We've been on a journey to find the cause of his neuropathy for over 20 years. At our monthly Neuropathy support group meetings, EVERYONE there has neuropathy. There are 20 million people in the USA who have neuropathy. > > Some causes?? > > diabets. > Statin drugs > Chemotherapy treatments > Levaquin (or similar antibiotics) > Pinched nerves in the lower back regions > Genetics, inherited neuropathy from one's parents > MS (Montel was discussing his main one day ontv) > Auto-immune diseases > And one can get neuropathy anywhere on the body, or INSIDE the body. > > Just a small explanation. We think Alan's spinal stenosis is the cause but we've been to countless back surgeons over the years and no one could pinpoint it. But now, at age 64, his latest MRI had one doctor say: 'Oh, you have spinal stenosis, and lots of degeneration going on. " No one will touch his back, and because he has neuropathy in his feet (you could drive a nail into his foot and he wouldn't feel it) but the pain is between his toes and they burn (because neuropathy is nerve damage and that means mis-directed pain signals reach the brain. He has a foot ulcer for 6 years that comes back because he has a Exostosis (extra bony growth) under his foot. He wears special shoes (which don't help) because when he walks, it puts pressure on the ulcer). We are now AGAIN trying to find a foot surgeon to shave down the boney part under his foot. So far, no one will operate on his foot because as they put it. " His foot might fall apart " . > > So the man can barely walk, has such a bad back, a host of other ailments but he can manage to laugh when he sees my sprouts. Thank god for that!!! > > Melody >
Guest guest
Carolyn: This is the product that I've been taking for years. http://www.puritan.com/methyl-b12-674/methylcobalamin-vitamin-b-12-5000-mcg-0328\ 60 And lately (because I store it well), I have purchased the 1000 size and I take 3 of them every few days. But for anyone who has a B-12 deficiency, I'd start with the 5000 once a day upon arising. And if you run this by your doctor, he just might pooh pooh it because, well because they just don't know.
