Guest guest
Congratulations on a fantastic buy. And so talented, painting. Good luck. I just ordered some more seed kits as they are buy one and 50% off a 2nd one now.  They are supposed to be good for 2 years. Cool dry place for storage. A package of organic seeds in an acceptable material and pod is cheaper, but I am not experienced enough to think of that yet. i will just ick the pods in. I am counting on getting the one I found on Craigslist for $50. Hope she calls me back tomorrow and I can get it. They had one for $100 which is too expensive considering used bulbs and no plants and no pods, etc. Cheaper to buy new. Other was $70, but not sure I want that either as I want one for tomatoes and taller. I have ordered some edible flowers this time, too and selected the greens and lettuces. If I find as many as I'd like to get, the police would come out and see if I were growing something besides herbs. i've seen that on youtube. I'll pass. This one is silver, while the first one I got a couple of weeks ago is black. This one does not have extra bulbs or tomato seeds as my first one did. Appears to be in good condition. I'll need to ponder what to grow in it, and definitely pick 's brain regarding the substitute pod material, etc. It's been a busy and tiring week and I also have several paintings to complete this weekend so not sure how soon I'll be getting them set up to go (i.e., grow, LOL). But I'll let you know and in the meantime, will try to read past posts on the aerogarden so I'm not completely in the dark! Thea
Guest guest
Fantastic! Hate to say " I told you so " , but I DID say they were fairly easy and cheap to come by, lol! Guest guest
The silver one is usually more expensive than the black one. The " extra " is more though too as it extends higher. There is a youtube on their site about pruning the tomatoes to make them spread out instead of going up and up.
