Hi Robin-

Thanks so much for this info and particularly the other posting with all the

Yasko stuff. I am heading in that direction so printed it off for future use.

As far as the compounds..have tried numerous comp pharm's and have landed with

AHI for my SR T3/T4 compounded Thyroid caps:

But for the primary sex hormones both troches and trandermal, I use San Ysidro:

They have been fabulous to work with on pricing. Compounded pricing obviously

involves the base/hormones ingredients but the larger % of the cost is the labor

to make the troches/creams/whatever. So what I did was asked my doc to double

my RX so for the same # of troches, they last 6 months instead of 3. Called the

pharmacy and the addt'l hormone powder wasn't that much and since the labor is

the same for the same # of troches, then my price stayed about the same.
