Guest guest
I saw this before you posted but thought I would let it through as the snopes.com article its not clear where the benzene is coming from and with new car sales down, you don't know what could lead to blaming older cars but it is on snopes.com with unclear verdict as far as I'm interpreting: http://www.snopes.com/medical/toxins/benzene.asp -- In , ssr3351@... wrote: > > > I've know about the plastic off gassing in cars so this all makes sense to > me. Guest guest
This has been only slightly helpful for me. It's true that some cars are so incredibly toxic that I cannot use them at all but even the ones rated highly are hard for me. Usually it takes months before I can drive a new car without all the windows open and me getting sick anyway. And then the car gets older and it gets moldy and I can't drive it then either. What's up with car manufacturers? Do they have no idea at all? > > Also on Healthy Stuff .org they have a toxic car rating :   Not all vehicles are listed but if you are buying it is good to know what you are getting into :  thery also have toys, clothes, (NA) > > http://www.healthystuff.org/departments/cars/about.why.php >  >  http://www.healthystuff.org/departments/cars/product.details.php?getrecno=1962 > > God Bless !! > dragonflymcs > Mayleen > > > > > ________________________________ > From: " ssr3351@... Guest guest
OK I'm going to ask a really stupid question-ow do you close the vents and how do you close the dampers. I'm not mechanically minded but I can follow instructions. Thanks! > > > I think some do and have heard that they are working on tying to get rid of > the toxins in the plastic.
