Guest guest
Wow! I like that one better even if it does jump all over the counter. You might try getting a silicone baking sheet or a silicone circle for the microwave and put it on there and see if it still jumps around as much.  But it sure does spin the water out and looks like much better than the others I saw. And your price was sure a good one. Thanks for sending the video. I need to get my camera up and running and see if I can get a video one of these days when I finish learning something more. I got it for $8.00 on Ebay a few years ago. I had the OXO but the constant pumping was hard on my hands so a lightbulb went off in my head and I went online to find out if there was such a thing as an electric salad spinner. There were commercial ones but not regular use ones. Until I found a video on this Presto Peel a Meal. I saw that it came with a salad spinning attachment. I went to ebay and got this beauty for $8.00. Made a video some time ago to show how it works. Here you go. I do ALL my brassicas this way. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rW5ZpBJM3Cs Melody > > > > Bed. Bath and Beyond sells the OXO. I have some sprouts in the refrigerator and I didn't spin them off or dry them first and now I don't know if hey are safe or not. I need to go to Bed Bath and Beyond for the spinner tomorrow. got my coupon for 20% off. Then I'll open that bunch of sprouts and see what it looks like and really wash them well if they aren't rotten. I am learning slowly. > > > > Carolyn Wilkerson > > > > > > > > From: Rushing < lindarsgarden%40gmail.com > > > To > > > > > >
Guest guest
It is about $39 on ebay right now. It has the attachment as well. it is not much off from the price of the OXO spinnr. And it will peel potatoes or apples. That is different. I hadn't seen one before. It has more than one thing going on. I hand peel with a silicone peeler my apples for apple crisp.  Probably healthier if I left the skin on, but then have to really scrub them and sometimes they are tough. I do like them on fried apples though.  Carolyn Wilkerson  To: sproutpeople Sent: Thursday, May 10, 2012 10:42 PM Subject: Re: Wow!!
