We have an innate immune system for a reason. If you need to stimulate it then

maybe you need to stimulate it. If we are experiencing TH2 dominance then we

might need a TH1 stimulant or a modulator to balance the Th1-Th2 reponse.

Pro inflammatory cytokines play an important role.. the problem is imbalance..

getting stuck in one or the other response and I am not sure if all pr

inflammatory cytokines come from the TH1 branch of the immune system.

This is a good article on the innate immune system:

http://www.lymebook.com/lyme-disease-nk-natural-killer-cells

NK cells are low for people with cancer and cfs and some with lyme.

Im not sure what is happening with mold illness.. HLA response is a TH1 response

(I THINK) so HLA types are unable to respond with an appropriate TH1 response..

that would be an innate immunity response that is lacking with the shoemaker HLA

types?? I would love to understand this...

It is about balance. I actually felt better taking beta glucan. I remember

feeling more energy but that could be due to other factors and currently I dont

want to play around with it for now.

*I would never take them. There are different viewpoints by individuals and by

institutions. I guess, in this area, you just pick your poison, so to speak.
