Guest guest
As explained below, a colleague is looking for a few more "players" for the Mock IEP she is presenting at this weekend's convention. No special talent/acting is involved (I'm one of the players) -- you simply have to read a script, and there are very small parts available. If you are able to help out, it would be greatly appreciated. You can email me -- or Anne directly (she's the mom of a HS'er iwth DS, and a sped attorney). Thanks in advance... We are performing on Sunday, twice. I thought I had the panel together but now I am short a few players for minor roles. Is anyone interested in volunteering? The requirements are that you have a strong voice, you are somewhat animated, and you can read well. You cannot have a child in the audience, who will be crying for you, or a spouse who is itching to leave Boston early to beat the traffic. If you are interested, please send me a bio on yourself, about one paragraph. You don't have to memorize your lines, you will read from a script. But I would hope that you would read the script a few times to get familiar with it. The theme is full inclusion so do not volunteer if you have any philosophical issues with this. PLEASE tell me an absolute non-retractable yes or no if you can volunteer. I need to print 500 color fliers listing the Mock IEP players. I cannot make a mistake. We have to perform twice. The details are as follows: Seaport World Trade Center NDSC Convention Headquarters 200 Seaport Boulevard Boston, MA 02210 10:00 – 11:30am Mock IEP 12:00 – 1:30pm Mock IEP Thanks!
