Guest guest
I think it is supposed to have a rotten egg smell? Is that correct? Diane you might want to get in touch with the builder of any home your into. But sounds like you might need an excellent local home inspector and a CIH to check out any home you are serious about. Hope you find a wonderful home. You are long overdue. Sam I was wondering if anyone could tell me more about the Chinese sheetrock/drywall. Guest guest
Diane, The is excellent and accurate information at the Florida Dept of Health Web site at: http://www.doh.state.fl.us/environment/community/indoor- air/drywall.html It even includes photos of what to look for and the states where it has been reported. Keep in mind that not all reports turned out to have Chineses drywall. For example, there were two reports in Colorado, neither of which were confirmed. The Consumer Product Safety Commission also has authoritative information at: http://www.cpsc.gov/info/drywall/InterimIDGuidance012810.pdf Carl Grimes Healthy Habitats LLC ----- I think it is supposed to have a rotten egg smell?
