Alan and I were out and we had pizza and I took out my little bag of sprouts and put it on the pizza slice and it was DELICIOUS. So why not do an appetizer of little baked pita triangles topped with guacamole and add some sprouts to it. Or some crackers with spreadable cheese topped with some sunnies or any other sprouts you have. It will sure be something that person HAS NEVER TASTED BEFORE. Might even like it!!! Me?? I'll eat ANYTHING with sprouts. lol, Melody > > > > Ok the Sunnies have perked up and we are going to have some in a salad tonight. Also have a batch of Flax seed/sprout crackers in the dehydrator cant wait to see how they turn out, Making them to eat with our raw sprout hummus we made. The crackers smell good so far.... > > We are gonna invite a good close friend over for dinner soon and we want to have lots of sprouts in our meal, we have some ideas what we are gonna fix but does anyone have any ideas? > > Gonna try some sunny patties later...hehe > > >
Guest guest
I like cheese soups. I don't have homemade cheese so in tossing cheese in, would a fresh shredded cheddar be the best? My favorite is a nice sprinkle of sunnies on top of " cream " of cauliflower soup, only I don't use any cream, lol. I just buzz up some steamed cauliflower with a handful of homemade cheddar cheese in my Vitamix-you can add a bit or rosemary or your favorite fresh herb. Add the sunnies just before serving. Looks lovely when served in a wine glass or martini glass! My daughter's favorite way to eat sprouts is to wrap up sprouts and egg salad in a lettuce leaf-she calls it " sushi " , lol. > > > > Ok the Sunnies have perked up and we are going to have some in a salad tonight.
