Guest guest
Hope the beginning of summer finds every one well. We are gearing up for a busy summer. We are still trying to sell our home in Reno, before we move back to California. Amy, my oldest, will be working this summer as a Respite worker for families with Speical Needs children. She will be a Junior next fall at University of Nevada Reno. Her room mate graduates in December, so I am not sure what she will do with her apartment? Their lease is up in July. I am hoping they go month to month until they decide what next! Kelsey graduates from high school this Friday. She received quite a few scholoarships and will start at UNR in the Fall. She is going to Australia for a month this summer. I hope she decides to come back! Davey and Will get out for summer on Wednesday. They will start third grade in the fall. Davey will continue in the CLS class. He will be between 40-50% mainstreamed. Both boys have been playing Little League. They have been on the same team. It has been so much fun. Their last game is Thursday night. Davey has started Special Olympics. He has been swimming and competed in the Regionals yesterday. He won two 1st places and one 3rd place. State is next Saturday (at the same time as the Little League awards picnic). Keep you posted! Next sport is Softball. We need to find something for Will to do this summer. He is a computer junky. He loves riding his bike. And he LOVES baseball. We are going to put him in Fall Ball this year, and hopefully move him up to the Minors. I have to travel to New York in a few weeks for work. When we get back, we are loading the family in our Excursion (diesel, it gets 18- 20 mpg) and heading to Disney Land for a few days. We will also be making a trip to Monterey for a family wedding and a trip to the aquarium. Our Au Pair, Veronika, is an angel. It is such blessing to have her as a part of our family. I am hoping she will decide to stay for one more year. If she does not, we will definaltey apply for another Au Pair. I would highly recommend this program to any family. I hope everyone has a happy and healthy summer. Welcome to all the new families. wife to mom to Amy 20, Kelsey 18, Davey 8, and Will
