Guest guest
If you are one of those who shop at Trader Joe's, Costco, Albertson's, and a few others this may be of interest to you and save you time in the hospital. The recall expansion announced Wednesday involves eggs from County Egg packaged under the brand names Albertsons, Farm Fresh, Farms, Glenview, Mountain Dairy, Ralphs, Boomsma's, Lund, Kemps and Pacific Coast. The egg cartons are stamped with n dates 136 to 229 (May 16 to Aug. 17) and plant Nos. 1720 or 1942. http://articles.latimes.com/2010/aug/20/business/la-fi-eggs-qa-20100820 God Bless !! dragonflymcs Mayleen
Guest guest
Gragonfly, There are actually many more than just those although great info. Here is what I seem to find as a main source for the current info. On a side note I am wondering how this might affect anything with an egg ingreient? I say this because after eating some lemon maraine pie I was sick for three days after. I dont believe it was from the eggs because win-dixie says they supply thier own eggs and are not in the recall but I dont know if that is truth or not. Never the less it got me thinking. http://www.eggsafety.org/ ________________________________ From: dragonflymcs <dragonflymcs@...> Sent: Mon, August 23, 2010 3:47:06 PM Subject: [] Alert Poisoned Eggs  If you are one of those who shop at Trader Joe's, Costco, Albertson's, and a few others this may be of interest to you and save you time in the hospital. The recall expansion announced Wednesday involves eggs from County Egg packaged under the brand names Albertsons, Farm Fresh, Farms, Glenview, Mountain Dairy, Ralphs, Boomsma's, Lund, Kemps and Pacific Coast. Guest guest
I think everyone needs to look at what they eat w eggs. I'm sorry you got so sick. Make sure you cook them threw even if they're cage free. This morning I heard they think it could have been due to mice droppings in the chickens food. For any of you who still vaccinate. Flu shots & a few others are cultured in eggs, along w other vial ingredients. You can find a list of ingredients in each at National Vaccine Info. Guest guest
I thought eggs were one of the foods we were supposed to stay away from? > > I think everyone needs to look at what they eat w eggs. Guest guest
I guess it depends if you're sensitive to the sulfur in them or allergic? They are similar to dairy, an alternative protein. Kathy From: Tug <tug_slug@...> Subject: [] Re: Alert Poisoned Eggs Date: Wednesday, August 25, 2010, 11:01 AM I thought eggs were one of the foods we were supposed to stay away from?
