Yes Tug, The market is lower than it has ever been according to the news July

took a 12.4% dive. There are so many homes here just sitting and have not sold

in the last year. Not only that, in good conscience maybe it is best to let the

bank deal with the repercussions of making someone else sick. I met a lady here

that got a really nice home for 40 thousand dollars. Not to mention, I will have

to dig up the document but there is a law either passed or soon to be that will

make it impossible to sell because of the green retrofits that have to be done

in order to sell the home. Things are about to get really bad at least in the

housing market. I also looked at some new 5th wheel campers the other day. OMG,

that changes they have made. There is on in particular (I will try to remember

to send you the info) It is guaranteed " NO FORMALDEHYDE " The construction is

made so that it will never mold, dry rot etc etc. It has like a three or four

inch insulated and heated floor. There is so much I dont even remember without

looking at the brocure but I am really stoked. That will be what I do if ever

possible. You can get into a brand new one for between say 20 to 45 thousand.

Not only that but I am told you can write it off as your primary home now. I am

really excited to know there is an option out there that could fix so many

issues trying to find a decent place to live.

Chris...

i wanted to to try to sell my condo to avoid foreclosure but after talking to

several individuals they said with the housing market as bad as it is and id

have to disclose that the condo had mold it would be better to let the bank

foreclose on it than to keep paying on it. knowing i couldn't pay rent and my

mortgage payment till the condo sold i didn't have much of a choice.

When it comes to mold and mold exposure it doesnt seem like theres a light at

the end of the tunnel. Everyday that i wake up it seems like im facing a new

challenge, another set back it just never seems to end.

my credit took such a severe hit due to my exposure i couldnt get a loan

for a pack of bubble gum much less an rv. You have to remember that once you get

the rv unless you can find a park that doesnt charge your going to have to pay

to park it. lets not forget about the maintenance, im sure their not cheap to

fix once it breaks down, heaven forbid it breakdown while your in the middle of

no place and have to call a tow truck. i guess what im trying to say is there

are no easy answers and when it comes to being exposed to mold its going to be

costly to recover

Well Tug, this is a fifth wheel trailer I am talking about. So maintenance is

minimal. Ya, I have no credit so If I never have the cash, it will never happen.

I can only pray I am able to recover compensation for what I have lost. That is

the only way. As far as the RV parks, average cost around the country is about

400 a month which includes electricity, water, sewage, cable, Internet access,

lawn care etc. If the trailer is paid for you cant beat that for monthly

expenses anywhere. But no matter what I would always have a safe bed to sleep

in... When my grandparents retired they sold their home and did just that and

loved it so I know it is possible if I can get over the initial hump to pay for

it. Im probably just dreaming but that's ok. I still hope..

( what is a fifth wheel trailer?? Barb)
