Guest guest
I've just now purchased and started using the Pelonis 4-disc ceramic heater. There's been an extreme chemical smell when running it. The guys at Pelonis were typical, flip, " customer non-service " . The top honcho claimed that the chemicals would outgas by running the heater a couple hours. This was not the case. I've had it on nearly 24 hours, and there is still a smell pervading the dining room & nearby kitchen. So now, the guy's been taking the easy way out, telling me to return it (and never mind the hassle & cost to me of return shipping, not to mention that I may be giving up a good-quality heater in case the smell does actually get outgassed). ...so, can someone please notify me the truth about whether the smell WILL/OR/NOT go away soon? I've had a similar experience a few years ago with a toxic smelling lamp that was outgassing chemicals. I need the answer soon, before the return-date deadline. Thanks! Guest guest
I have a Pelonis ceramic heater. I don't have any problems-- but I have had it for a while. >
