In any case here is some stuff I know about wearing glasses Vision with glasses is rarely absolutely perfect--and the stronger the lenses the more distortion there will be regardless of whether the position of the glasses on the face changes. And when the position of the glasses changes for any reason, there will be a change in vision (more so again with very strong lenses). If you are new to wearing glasses this may be hard to get used to. That however s not something that I can speak to since I've worn glasses portions of this message have been removed]
Guest guest
I have also been wearing glasses since I was a child. But the MCS has made me sensitive to the slightest variation in the actual grinding of the lenses. If the measurements are off by a tiny tiny amount I get nauseous, the muscles in my eyes seem to pull and my eyes burn. The problem is no one else is this sensitive so my eye doctor (Whom I love and cares alot about my problem) can't really get the lenses shop to understand that I need PERFECTION. It's ridiculous how many times he's had to tell me they can't do better than this, sorry, but I guess these glasses are not going to work for you. What am I going to do? I am half blind without glasses, it;s not like I can go about my day not wearing them all the time like some people can. Thanks for you help, Surella > > > > I am having ongoing issues with my glasses. Because I'm so sensitive any slight bump or adjustment throws my glasses off and I can't wear them-ditto with trying to get new lenses-they never come out exact enough for me. > > I'm down to my last pair of good ones and a tree branch knocked me this morning and now I think the glasses are off. I'm ready to cry. > > I never used contacts because, of course, I'm really sensitive to stuff in my eye but is there natural MCS safe stuff out there? Anybody use anything special for contacts. My doctor is terrific and open to suggestions from me, I just need the info. > > > > Thanks alot, Surella > > >
Guest guest
I wore glasses since a child too & sympathize w distortion issues. I get a bit dizzy w a new rx. Looks like floors, steps are higher until getting used to them. Maybe you should try contacts. I loved mine, only quit to help our budget. Had the soft disposables. For those of us older they make bifocal lenses. What kind of solution was gentle for you? Last one I used was OptiFree. I should a try again. I'm reacting to metal frames & don't care for some of the plastic styles. There's more distortion w thinner lenses & strong rx.
