Guest guest
I know that we typically don't use this venue for a political soapbox but this election could very well help us go ahead or drag us back for years with mold illnesses depending upon who gets elected. In the special US Senate election to be held in Massachusetts next Tuesday, January 19, 2010 to fill the seat of the late Senator Ted Kennedy, the US Chamber of Commerce endorsed Brown, the Republican running for the position. The US Chamber of Commerce, along with the Manhattan Institute, is the same organization that helped to disseminate to major stakeholders the easy-speak version of the ACOEM Mold Guidelines to the tune of $40,000 paid to the authors which says mold exposure doesn't hurt you when it does. The US Chamber of Commerce also recently suffered the loss of membership last fall of Microsoft, IBM and PG & E who took umbrage with the Chamber's stand that " there couldn't possibly be such a thing as global warming. " Please don't make our jobs harder as we try to bring the mold illness issue to the forefront by putting someone into office who is not going to be helpful. Support Martha Coakley who, as District Attorney, stood with the court workers at Middlesex Courthouse forcing the state to get them out of their sick building.
