I created 2 documents in word processing - one for household/personal products,

the other for building materials type info.  I save the info I think I might

need someday.  I put it into table columns:

Flooring: - ...what is good and what is not (bamboo, wood, finishes, safe

materials & other info)

Plumbing:  PEX is best, copper 2nd choice but lead can get into the water, PVC

bad.

Roofing:    ...ashphalt fumes can get into the house...

and so on...

....Corky

Subject: [] Keeping track of all this information

There is always so much information to get here, I have trouble keeping track of

it all. Does anyone have the same problem and found a system for keeping it?

Some people are better organizers than others.

Thanks for your ideas. The search function used to work better here and you

could do a search of posts to find a past discussion. I've used bookmarks but

those are so numerous I can't find what I want. Now I'm trying 3X5 card but

hard to write everything down. Thanks again.
