Guest guest
In 1988 I was a consultant to the employees of the EPA building in Washington DC. Several workers became ill and approximately 120 were allowed to work at home because of their illness. Inspection of the building, which was a converted apartment building, revealed multiple sources of air pollutants, VOCs, mold, bacteria, etc. At a town hall meeting which I attended the Director of the EPA (I do not recall his name) addressed the meeting and said the following: " EPA recognize that sick building exist, but we do not have the problem here in this building. " He was greeted with boos by several hundred employees. Perhaps, this time they will get to the bottom of the issue by doing appropriate testing. However, I doubt the testing will be carried out correctly.. Jack-Dwayne: Thrasher, Ph.D. Toxicologist/Immunotoxicologist/Fetaltoxicologist www.drthrasher.org toxicologist1@...
