I can speculate that as far as spores go, they may like moist conditions and certain barometric pressures in order to sporulate and fly. Spores use water and their ergonomics in order to go at speeds up to fifty miles an hour (a study I read last year). Therefore, maybe on a sunny day, the conditions aren't great for them and they stay quiet. But that says little about mycotoxins. I am okayish today and it's snowing here. Tomorrow it will be sunny.
