My stuff is in storage now on the other side of the U.S. Aller Aire was the

first I bought when I got sick in 2002. I couldn't tolerate computer fumes

before that. From there it was on to living in a driveway & then a moldy house

(the crawlspace) - I didn't realize that til winter. So I bought 5 cheaper ones

to put in the moldy room & also set up an exhaust fan going from the floor & out

a hole in the wall. I used the Aller Aire to offgas the plastic & motor fumes

from the cheaper ones.

I could see those blankets being useful to cover a duct or something but not

air-cleaning a room to much of a degree.

I wouldn't use UV - it gives off small am't of ozone. After running an ozonator

on high in a closed room overnight I then reacted to FRESH AIR ! - felt like my

lungs had freon in them or something as if I was breathing really cold air. I'll

get my ozone & negative ions from nature only from now on :-).

I would only choose from the brands sold at needs.com/ They cater to severe

canaries.

to .1 micron. Do you use the cheper purifiers as well.. sounds like you do.

Which ones and how are they working for you?

but possibly its only killing the mold on the filter.. then is there a need for

that or not?
