Guest guest
While our board is an excellent forum for sharing research developments and stories of people suffering from mold exposure, all of this information is " preaching to the choir " , in that all of us on this board have reached a level of awareness, of the danger, which is far above the level of awareness of the general public. The REAL progress in meeting our needs, to deal with our problems, only occurs when the knowledge that WE already know, starts permeating the public consciousness. I am happy to bring to everyone's attention the following item from the website of www.weather.com . It appears in their section titled " Mold In Your Home " . " When necessary, some resourceful molds produce toxins in defense against other molds and bacteria called mycotoxins. Depending on exposure level, these mycotoxins may cause toxic effects in people, also. Fatigue, nausea, headaches, and respiratory and eye irritation are some symptoms that may be experienced from exposure to mycotoxins. If you or your family members have health problems that you suspect are caused by exposure to mold, you should consult with your physician. " The above words are a major step forward from their previous discussion of mold, on their website. Weather.com is one of the most visited websites on the internet. They are now telling their users to " consult with your physician " , if you suspect that your symptoms " are caused by exposure to mold " . This means that instead of physicians being asked about " toxic mold " by just " us few crackpots " , they will now be bombarded with those two words, by millions of people [hopefully]. It might even create a critical mass of public awareness, in which physicians would have no other alternative than actually beginning to think, for a change. The word gets out. This video is titled " Allergic To Mold " , which brings the word " Toxic " to the attention of millions of asthmatics, who never heard the concept before. There's even a doctor, in a white coat saying all the right things. The word gets out. > > http://tinyurl.com/27n5xoe > > > > > >
