Guest guest
Robin, I have been using an intestinal product with bentonite clay , psyllium and other herbs to detox. My cholesterol is low to begin with and I have some concern about using the CSM or any detox product on a consistent basis. I do think that detoxing strains the body( my own opinion) and have put myself on a hiatus for several months with my own detoxing. It gives me a chance to regroup and allow my body to correct what it can on its own. I think I would have gotten very ill had I proceeded without a break. This is only MY experience and you can take from it what you please.. As I used nystatin in the mid 80's, I remember how sick I got at first. I was told to take things gradually and slowly....and then to back off, if necessary which worked. I don't think it is wise to do things so strongly that the body is " strained " , as you would say. I think you are right on with your thinking.... but this is only how I feel... To me it makes sense... and I stopped with the detoxing on a regular basis a few months ago. It seemed as I was improving... I could tolerate less where at first I could do things on a daily basis. This is just me... Guest guest
Robin, Very interesting post.....I have this tendency, too, but I am finding now after 3 mos on CMS that I am better--not as anxious as before. I am leaning towards the thought that mold illness causes or aggravates the adrenals & autonomic system. Before the CMS I would have 2 day migraines & throw up green bile that tasted horrible. Now the migraines are gone and I have not thrown up for 3 mos. I must admit the detox was not a picnic b/c I was so fatigued, etc but I feel so good now. I am up in the PM only 1-2 times to the bathrm. That in itself is a praise report for CMS. I hope I do not have to be on it forever but the Dr. did say with my genotype I would be HIT and need occasional CMS. One day there may be a natural substance without sucrose, etc we can take. But for now I am thankful for CMS b/c it is the only thing I am doing to get well. I do think 3 doses per day will work, at least it has for me. I seem to forget one dose per day. From: listspub <listspub@...> Subject: [] CSM Straining Adrenals Date: Sunday, November 28, 2010, 2:55 AM  Was it here that someone posted about the act of pulling bile and the body having to make more is straining to the adrenals? Guest guest
oh yes,, this is making tons of sense, Kathi. Thank you. What products are you using and how do you dose that? I didnt feel a inflammatory intensification as I expected like whole body feeling like hit by a truck, rather its the ANS, adrenal strain.. it is just too much. Guest guest
Diane, this has to be a huge relief for you and good for me to hear progress is possible. Thank you. I think you are right as well.. the toxins are going to agravate the ANS. I need to find balance or I will be in trouble. I cant deal with the up and down BP and pulse one goes up the other down back and forth. I thnk the RADS as Mayleen linked to is compounding the issue. I need to back off. I think as well that three times a day should be fine. I backed down to 1 tsp and still had tachy tonight. Not knowing what is causing what is not helping but the chemicals have to be playing a role.. csm not sure. Outdoor air quality questionable since I live across from a lake but I seem to feel my body relax when i open the windows (just wish it was not cold here now). Not wanting to take a chance after already ending up in hospital once and almost going again a few nights ago. We have a fmaily history of some pretty nasty dysautonomia.. my sister had wild swings that would have killed some people.. a fact I try not to put on myself but kind of hard not to. Guest guest
I have austin airs, but they are not so great at chemicals as the ones with UVs.. but I stayed away from UVs because of the warnings that killing mold was not a good idea.. ??? Now I am questioning that move! If using a hepa, you will trap molds that contain toxins in the hepa. Those mold spores will still emit toxins, right? So if you kill them and they still stay attached to the hepa, whats the problem? And then there is the possibility that UV also denatures toxins or is this a definite no? At one point, what does it matter and how do you weigh out what is most important? What kind do you have? Thanks, Diane.. Guest guest
I have been in search of Cholestyramine without sugar or fake sweeteners. So far I have been told it is not available on the market anywhere. Do people actually take cholestyramine for candida? From everything I have read and heard, sugar feeds candida. So if you have candida, how can you take this stuff (with sugar)? It is loaded. Are people taking the CSM with fake sweeteners if they have candida?
