That's a classic phenol reaction, a positive negative as it were, Epsom Salts doing their thing. YOu could fry and egg on my middle son Joe's it so hot, always only one

Hi everyone,I have noticed that when DS has his epsom salts bath his left ear always goes red. I would have thought that if it was just a case of him getting hot then both ears would go red. I know that red ears can be a sign of allergy but wondered why it would be happening in the bath. We use no bubble bath. Could this be an indication of anything? Could it mean that magnesium doesn't agree with him? Sorry, I know it sounds silly but it is always his left ear. Strange. Any ideas, thanks. Sue

No Fenol often times helps with yeast so die off a possibility, tiny amount from a capsule once per day to start with and see how he goes, email me at MM to remind me

I do remember seeing his ear red when he was younger but nothing registered and I haven't really been looking out for this. Samples would be great Mandi, thank you. Should we expect die-off with them? Any possible negative reactions as DS seems to be tolerating less and less. Sue

Does it happen at a time other than in the bath? Joe's lights up after ketchup. I would trial No Phenol, I can send you some samples

So, should I assume that phenols are a problem and give him No Fenol or do you think the epsom salt baths would be sufficient?( He has the baths 2 out of 3 days.) I don't think he has any high phenol foods and the only fruit he has are pears. Thanks. Sue
