Guest guest
Sharon, You know like everyone else here, this is totally ridiculous and absurd. I will never forget when I first started dealing with this nightmare, I had a voice activated chat board/public room so that I could speak to many people across the country and abroad. I had one person that joined the chat room early on, but was to shy to speak, so she would only type every now and then. She was a sweet 17 year old that would just listen and watch what was being said but would never say much. One night she came into the chat room early after I just opened it for that evening. The first thing she typed to me was, I have aspergillus in my lungs. I WAS SHOCKED!!!!! I immediately locked the room so just she and I could talk or type. I asked her why she thought that. She was diagnosed with aspergilliosis and was waiting for a lung transplant. My heart sunk, and my eyes teared up. She said she got it from working in a barn. Her family owned a beautiful horse stable. She never wore a mask during cleaning and neither did her mother. HER MOTHER DIED A YEAR AGO from the SAME infection!!!!!!!! This was a very hard conversation to have with someone so young. Eventer ( her nick name) would only speak to me on the microphone when no one else was in the room. She was a bundle of joy even with this nasty illness. She was a pretty young girl that reminded me alot of my own daughter. She sent me a picture that I still have to this day. One night her father came into the room and asked if we could speak privately. He had informed me that eventer had passed away. We cryed together that night as he not only lost his wife to this but now his daughter. So much for working in a barn or on a farm to make you a healthier person. So I say BULLSH-- TO THAT NEW RESEARCH I will never forget her.
