Hi Clare,LDN is most effective in halting progression of MS. It may or may not relieve symptoms. In any case, I suggest you not depend solely on LDN to defeat your MS. Other considerations like diet, food allergens, and stress are also important. For more informaton, visithttp://tinyurl.com/grpm9With best wishes,Dudley Delany

Dear Clare ,

I was feeling great improved in fatigue but not in tightness spasms after 5 months on ldn in fact my tightness increased. I discovered www.cpnhelp.org which has treatment for chylamdia pnemonia infections which is considered a cause (bacterial) underlying for MS I have been on that protocol additionally with lddn and all most all my symptoms have receded. Check it out I am quite pleased . Please understand that I am quite clearly aware that every incidence of MS or exacerbation was preceded by flushish walking/pnemonis symptoms Barbara

You may be having a tonic or paroxysmal spasm. You can Google it to read more, but here is what the MS Society has to say: "Paroxysmal spasm A sudden, uncontrolled limb contraction that occurs intermittently, lasts for a few moments, and then subsides."

I do not find that LDN relieves these at all--only trileptal which is an anti-seizure medication.

Hi and everyone else,The DVD will take around six weeks from tape to completion. You can send me an email at psychrn@... and I'll put your name aside and send you an email when they are almost ready to go. Shooting it is easy. Adam is capturing right now (thats when you take the tapes and transfer the information into a hard drive) then we have to editcreate an actual workable dvdcreate artwork- we have lovely picture from dr MCc's site of an endorphin so if I know who wants one it give me a good idea how many to order when we get them reproduced.I did a lovely interview with Dr Crowley today. I was so upset that Dr ce was not there-I had so many questions for him about his protocol especially when people are exacerbating. So my prayers go out for him.cyndiOn Oct 25, 2007, at 10:44 AM, Clare Magee wrote:Hello                I would love a copy of the dvd when it is ready can you help?.                    Clare.

Hi All

Regarding LDN for a lymphoprolific disorder. I have Mantle Cell Lymphoma with Lymphocytosis I tried the LDN when I had been lucky enough to have my WBC at 25 ( normal 4 to 11) I used it for one month and it increased the wbc by 20% to 30. So that is not the result you want with CLL. Just a friendly warning, I was very disapointed that the LDN was not good for me.

Hi ,Sorry that LDN does not appear to be working for you. Perhaps, as happens when LDN is used to treat MS, the symptoms of CLL get worse before getting better. This is where it would be nice to have input from others with CLL who HAVE used LDN successfully, and how it went for them (not to mention, of course, research bearing on the issue). You might want to give LDN more than one month trial period. The full therapeutic effect of LDN is often not achieved for weeks, months, or sometimes even a year or more. With best wishes,Dudley Delany

Hi Sonja,I don't think symptom improvement is that rare an occurance when using LDN.In the study of LDN for Crohn's disease summarized athttp://tinyurl.com/2urywq89% of the participants experienced at least some symptomatic improvement, and 67% experienced total remission of their symptoms. Also, there is more to treating your various conditions than just using LDN. There are other important factors to consider, such as diet, food allergies, and stress. For more information, visithttp://tinyurl.com/grpm9With best wishes,Dudley Delany

Do you have and go to chiropractors? Maybe try to find one that will work with you.

Do you crave and eat chocolate? Perhaps quit it cold turkey for 4 weeks minimum and see how you feel after over 3 weeks.

Do you drink a lot of coffee and caffeine products? Quit it cold turkey and in 3-4 weeks you should notice a difference.

Do you take any vitamins? I recommend only B1 - 100 MG, I don't know for sure, but it seems to be the thing responsible for my legs' improvements back in 2005. This year when I had bought refills, moved and misplaced the, I ran out and stopped taking them. A few days later I realized it had to be the B1 that helped my legs, stopped and go a new bottle and 2 days later my legs were fine again.

IN the early days/months of LDN, I think if someone is super fatigued, their body may have a LOT of issues it wants to 'check out', the body works best while sleeping, so maybe it's just encouraging lots of sleep to it can do some work?

I only take LDN 3.0 and B1 100 MG every day

NO guarantees, but no charge either. FIFO and GIGO

Good luck

Hi Cristine,Your doctor is dead wrong. Don't take more than 4.5 mg nightly. Anything more is counterproductive. Take the 50 mg tablets and make our own liquid LDN according to the instructions given here:http://tinyurl.com/2dfbvdFor additional information about LDN, visithttp://tinyurl.com/2boot2With best wishes,Dudley Delany

Please read the LDN website, doses over 4.5mg can make autoimmune

diseases and cancers worse.

My understanding is that LDN can be used to help some types of diabetes. A few people have written in that their blood pressure is better after using LDN. Just watch everything carefully while trying any new drug.

To Art Hansen: loving greetings Art. Sounded like you might be

an authority on Naltrexone and the maladies it is meant to relieve

or remove. Please excuse me if I'm assuming too much. I have no

idea where Naltrexone can be purchased in Winnipeg, Manitoba,

Canada, or in what strength: or what producer or brand name I

should look for. What strength is it safe to start with?

I've seen MS often mentioned in all the communications my Inbox

has been flooded with. Has anyone considered that Aspertame

(poison) sweetener might be responsible for a host of autoimmune

diseases. A key figure in the U.S. government has a major share in

the manufacture of this deadly substance. I'm wondering if many

seemingly "harmless" food additives are wreaking havoc with our

health? I'd be grateful for a response from someone who might be

in a position to know the answers. Thank you and God bless you;

remember, Jesus loves you, and gave His life to save us and heal

our diseases. With all of our love to each one of you.

Dr. Skip Lenz and ask him just to be safe. 561.218.0111

Thank you for your kind remarks.

You too can become an expert on LDN by reading thoroughly Dr. Gluck's

great website. Most questions can be answered from there.

http://www.low dose naltrexone.org/

When starting LDN the conservative recommendation is: 1st month

1.5mgs, 2nd month 3.0mgs and 3rd month 4.5mgs, which is the optimal

adult dosage.

And yes I agree Aspertame is not good for your health, along with a

bunch of other things.

You can purchase Naltrexone from River Pharmacy which is located in

Canada.

They come in 50mgs tablets from which you can make homemade liquid

LDN.
