Guest guest
We had this done yonks and yonks ago, they came and did it at home and said it was normal, in those days I didn't question 'normal' Mandi x Anyone had a sleeping hearing test done? Anyone had the possibility raised that hearing problem could be an issue in language problems for their child? Does anyone even suspect that their child might not be hearing them properly ie muffled hearing, able to hear whispers but not hear anything clearly? Guest guest
hi Vicky, my son is non verbal except for a few words yes its in ayr. ayr is 1 hour from glasgow. Ian did 2 tests on my son but informally he mentioned many other things regarding sensory auditory issues and rang up a specilist ot who gave me more ideas to deal with sensory issues, we are re doing the tlp but ian jordans glasses can help correct the vision and the sensory over load and he could tell like our osteopath that my son had migraines. these have no all gone, we do use the glasses but its a slow process with the sensory issues although a massive improvement over 3 years, Ian Jordan is also a registered healer and this conversation sprung up as my son sees a healer on a weekly basis, this also contributed to the migraines going the anxiety releasing and the audiotry improving.Trigenminal nerve cropped up as well with can be treated with vits b, c zinc etc.. isobel > > Ah yes Ayr, its all 'way up there' for me being 'right down ere'. > > Got to get over taking him back to advance for a review, nightmare city, > and then for DG testing, maybe in the autumn way up there for eyes > > Mx > > > In a message dated 08/02/2012 20:24:01 GMT Standard Time, MaddiganV@... > writes: > > > > > I'd completely forgotton about him, thanks for reminding me Mandi, thought > he was in Ayr, not too far from Glasgow where my mother lives so > definitely possible, gettiing old you know, don't keep info like I used to. > Vicky > > > > > > > -----Original Message----- > > To: Autism-Biomedical-Europe <Autism-Biomedical-Europe > > Sent: Wed, 8 Feb 2012 18:49 > Subject: Re: Re: Sleeping hearing tests for non > verbal? > > > > > > > Ian Jordan says he can make assessment of non verbals.
