Donna Im sorry to hear that your going through so much but the very first thing

I would do is get out of that apartment and take nothing with you except the

clothes on your back. Get a hotel room, stay with friends or sleep in your car

if you have to but get out of that apartment now!! Beings your so sick it doesnt

sound like your working so you may not have health insurance, regardless you

need to find a Dr that has some knowledge about toxic mold exposure and how to

treat it. Finding an attorney is important but not nearly as important as

getting your health back. Speaking of your attorney, he works for you the more

information he has that can prove your claim the better the outcome will be.

The next thing I would do is find someplace safe to live but before you do that

stop off at the least expensive store you can and buy some clothes and wrap them

up in plastic to avoid contaminating them as well. When you find a new place

take some trash bags in the shower and put the old clothes in the trash bags and

seal it up good so they cant contaminate your new surroundings.

I tried to get the county health involved in my area because I didnt want anyone

to get sick from my contaminated condo but that waste of time all they basically

did was write a letter to the HOA and let it go at that. My advice is for you to

focus on getting out of that apt and getting your health back, once you do that

everything else will fall into place.

In the beginning stages of my contamination and even to this day my main focus

is to limit my exposure to toxic mold as much as humanly possible. Im still

pretty much a newby to all this so Im sure theres others that will chime in who

will be able to give you much better detailed advice than I have.

Donna,

You need to get out of the place that is making you sick. That should be your

main concern in my opinion. Once you get out then focus on legal issues. Even

the popular medicines prescribed for toxic mold exposure wont help you until

your out of the infected area/areas. The longer you stay in your sick building

the more sick you will get.

am too sick to look through the posts i just got mold report back and i

have black mold and 7 other things going on in my apt. i moved something in my

bedroom and passed out after that was about 6 hours ago i woke up about 2 hours

ago and am just now able to get to the group. is there a lawyer for phoenix area

on the group that i can forward my mold test to. i have lost my son due to the

mold got accussed of doing too many of my meds to make a long storuy short. i

is mold in here and it's making me really sick. thank you for any help. i'm

going to lay back down i am scared. i will check back in the morning i'm

planning to go to the liobrary to get ahold of some numbers so i can get out of

here. i'm in an apt and don't want anyone else to get hurt so i think i need to

call the county health dept my case is in appeals with my son and i'm afraid if

i send the mold report

to the lawyer i will still get screwed and not get my son back this is crazy. i

ned some advice shouold i send him the report tomoorrow i have never met him. i

found the mold about a week after the state tried to close my casae and told my

lawyer to appeal i have bveen too sick but with the way i have symprtoms

everyone thinks i'm high as a kite yeah from mold not drugs i have passed out

once and the otehr time i had a seizure and my friends house had mold and i was

trying to tell them what happened at her house and they kept telling me to shut

up and of course when i came to again at the er i forgot to tell the er dr. oh

the ambulance guys insited i take off every stitch of clothes while they kept

telling me to shut up. they never told the dr what i was trying to tell them

they assumed i am a druggie i am really mad and sick this isn't fair and i need

someone to help me. my poor son was having symptoms too but i didn't realize he

was telling me he

forgot alot too and i just now am connecting everything he's 11. i haven't seen

him for 4 months they sent him out of state. please ggive me some advice.

yes,you've got to get to felling better so you can deal with this,

you need to get out of there, put your all your stuff in storage for now and get

some clean used cloths from somewhere, get yourself into a little apt or a clean

motel room or whatever and get rid of all scented purfumes,cleaning

products,ect. you need somewhere with good clean air to help you get your head

thinking clearer and I dont like giveing legal advise but you need a lawyer that

has some understanding that exposure in a water damaged building can make you

very sick and affect your clear thinking and judgement. you need a lawyer that

well know how this played in to everything that happened.

at least find one that would be welling to talk with some experts on the matter

and get educated about it real quick.

you need to get your sinuses cultured than get a neti pot and start washing your

sinuses out, this should be done asap, mold+ up in your sinuses can continue to

cause damage.

you might have to look around some for a coopertive dr.

or get to a expert who will do it and know where to send it for culture,most dr.

dont order them cultured for that long, make sure it's done right. you should

get with your lawyer on that.

the sinus cultures should be cultured 8 weeks, you might want them sent to Dr.

Hooper in tx. ? someone here well have the info. for him.
