Guest guest
I'd be surpsrised if anybody could feel sexual on that toxic cocktail. Quitting the provera might help but I doubt it. If you want a sexual relationship, you will have to persuade her to come off the drugs and hope that things reverse (provided, of course, that it is safe for her to come off them at this time). To give her some incentive, you might want to tell her about this group. The longer she stays on them, the greater the chance that the effects will persist when she stops. Vornan > > please help me to adjust to this by giving me some tips. she is on > prozac, klonapin and zantc also she just came off of depo prevera. her > overall level/capacity of any form of intimacy (never mind actually > having sex) is completly out the window. she barely even let's me > touch her in an innocent way. this is really wearing on my self esteem > as i am left to try and decypher what is going on because she won't > even talk about it...other than for me to just drop it, stop bringing > it up and don't try to initate it. >
Guest guest
hello, thanks for the reply. i have been doing some research and there are a number of natural herbs that can be taken to increase sex drive. the problem is that it seems as if she doesn't even have the desire to do anything about it...is that normal. the comment about your husband going to give you a hug and you responding as if he wanted sex is all to common and often. when i feel as if i am not even desired for an innocent touch it just makes feel so worthless and unneeded. things of coarse escalate to her saying/insisting... " there you go again...your mad because i'm not IN THE MOOD for sex...here we go again...would you just give up and give it a rest " . now think about it for a second, how the hell would you feel? hopefully you are open and understanding enough to his feelings and needs. if you are i am willing to bet that you weren't always...if so how did the transformation take place...what can i do or say to help her understand that this really hurts me and ultimately us? thanks > > WOW YOU SOUND JUST LIKE MY HUSBAND! Guest guest
it wasnt easy. we went through many, many fights about it. he fought i sat there. i wouldnt say any thing. because of the lack of desire i thought anytime he came near me thats what he wanted even though he didnt. i know your fiancee doesnt want to talk about it. i didnt either i just wanted to be left alone. my best friend and sat me down and told me straight out i was runining my marriage and that i wasnt the same person that he knew anymore. he kept telling me and finally i realized that i wasnt feeling, happy, sad, mad. nothing. have you went to the doctor with her. discuss your feelings about what the med has her acting like. hopefully she will realize. it sucks but my hubby felt the same way rejected. he says when you get rejected enough why would you want to be around anymore. keep telling her you love her and remember you havent done anything wrong.
