I would answer with a definite NO! In fact Kombucha and Kefir and fermented

things with good bacteria and yeasts are the very things that can combat

the Helicobacter pylori bacterium successfully. Kombucha is a natural

antibacterial/pro-good-life substance.

The suggestion on

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20071213144437AAIk7op

is: 'Start flooding your gut with good intestinal flora that the antibiotics

have removed. 80 per cent of your body's immune system is in your gut.'

It also suggests a generous water-intake.

I would not touch antibiotics with a barge pole anyway!

Hope you quickly kick the nasties.

Kombucha is one sure goody!

All best to you,

Margret UK :-)
