Guest guest
The Academy of Allergy and Immunology just cannot get their ducks in a row :  To the Editors: Position papers are unique publications that review the literature concerning a controversial topic. These papers are particularly useful for the practicing physicians and trainees, in that they discuss pro and con data and render a position that is succinct and scientifically valid. These papers are continually referred to by the practitioner as patients perceived to have such disorders are evaluated. It has been more than 2 years since a position paper entitled “The medical effects of mold exposure,â€1 commissioned by the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI), was published in the Journal. This paper has received extensive criticism from many quarters primarily for the position on the role of toxins in human health and the lack of conflict of interest statements by the authors.  http://www.jacionline.org/article/S0091-6749(08)01114-7/fulltext God Bless !! dragonflymcs Mayleen
