greetings again ,

Rezz here for you in resolve:

you can brew amazing kombucha elixir without any alcohol, refined

sugars or vinegar.   i suggest using coconut secret brand organic raw

coconut nectar, wild or organic honey(needs to always be raw),clear

agave nectar can work as well. you do not specifically need any type

of vinegar or processed sugars of any kind whatsoever, period. really

blessed brewing to you!   }{

Subject: Trying to make Kombucha work

Sometime ago I quit drinking kombucha because it just didn't work for me. I am

too sensative to the sugar and even with the vinegar it gives me wart like

things on the inside of my nose that you can't see but that are painful. I

tried taking the vinegar and heating it on the stove to kill the bacteria so I

wouldn't make my nose break out and drinking that with water. I am thinking

hoping that way I can get the benefits of all the wonderful acids it produces

without the bad side effects. Besides I make kefir and get pro-biotics that way

so I don't need the probiotics in kombucha so much. Would like to know anyone's

thoughts on this.

Thanks,

Hi Rezz,

would you mind sharing the " secret brand " name? I too use a variety of

" sugars " for lack of a better word...

such as the organic raw coconut nectar...just wondering?

thanks,Sheila

I believe this is what he is referring to.

But I disagree with the raw honey. Raw honey is highly anti - ceptic,

fungal, biotic, bacterial ... you really should pasteurize honey before

using it or it will try to kill the kombucha bacteria. Raw honey is

awesome for lots of other things but I don't think it would be a good idea

for making KT.
