I've heard the landline chat and it is so wrong. It's just like the new

lightbulbs!! We should have a choice what we want to use. Most older people

can't even use a cell phone and wouldn't remember to recharge it.I don't

like talking on my cell phone other than for a quick call.

the only way those towers are going away is if they become unprofitable

for the cell companies...do you use a cell phone for anything more than

emergencies? take your cell phone off a plan and buy the minimum

minutes for it, turn it off, and just use for emergencies, educate your

friends and families to do the same....did you know that AT & T has

petitioned the FCC for permission to dismantle the landline system so

that there would only be cell phone telephone communication!
