Guest guest
Well the only docs who seem to be interested in environmental illness are the docs who get environmentally ill themselves and so get clued into it: 3 like that I've heard of: Rea, thoracic surgeon turned EI doc after he was passing out in the OR from the anesthesia, became MCS, became an EI doc Dr. Bernhoft, general surgeon, became allergic and EI from the disinfectant he slathered his arms in before surgery....then turned EI doc Sherry , had a pesticide exposure, became an EI doc, oh, and maybe Nagl... BTW, in Sherry book Detox or Die she says the way they induce parkinsons in rats to test parkinsons disease is to give them a big pesticide exposure, and one way they can help some parkinsons patients is thru sauna detox of the pesticides.... sue v > > >Yes. Guest guest
Yes. I agree. No one wants to touch this with a ten foot pole if they want to be known as cool and hanging with the in crowd of mainstream medicine. By and large, only those who have lived the devastation comprehend how damaging this is to people's lives. And then there is the minor detail of fear of retribution among one's peers if they speak directly of the deceit in science and politics of the matter. I can't even tell you how many times I have read and heard the false character assassinating concept that Dr. Rea just does this because he is self absorbed and only motivated to make money. And this is among some of our own proponents! Dr. Rea has been very brave to do what he does to help the sick. But backstabbing in the medical community aids to demean and discredit his valor and credibility of his work. I swear, from becoming involved in this issue, I now view much of the medical community as a bunch of junior high " mean girls " who can't stand the stand out students like Dr. Rea. Sadly, this isn't junior high and lives are adversely impacted by the idle gossip that permeates this issue over the medical science and those who practice and promote it. I got a rather disheartening message yesterday. Seems the new House is targeting the EPA for cuts, which means progress made by the CIAQ over this issue to follow the recommendations of the GAO will be further compromised to actually accomplish change in policy over this issue anytime soon. Seems to me that there are now a bunch of " mean girls " in the House, too! In a message dated 11/12/2010 8:13:38 P.M. Guest guest
Yes, these people deserve our respect and support, including Croft phd, who got dumped on big time, without much support I might add from the mold 'community'. > > Yes. Guest guest
Right. The main floor is the ole estate of Levi Strauss. Haven't been there in awhile. The way I remember it, is that the offices, etc, are mainly where the old house is. But the rest is added on. I THINK it was going to be a luxury hotel and that was the reason for the addition. I remember it had a gorgeous lecture auditorium and grounds. It was very peaceful and it seemed the number of employees far out did the number of guests they can accommodate. For just a Spa, spa, I like this place, too. Two Bunch Palms in the desert. They have natural mineral water with lithium in it. Its been around since the 20s. _The Resort and Spa in Desert Hot Springs California_ (http://www.twobunchpalms.com/the-resort.htm) In a message dated 11/14/2010 3:44:25 P.M. They are extremely expensive, housing was over $100 a day when I spoke to them in 2005. Guest guest
I feel wonderful after hyerbaric treatment but it wears off. HOWEVER, if I am having trouble with *frequent migraines, I will go there and it will blast migraine away within few minutes of being in it and it WONT come back for months, and then *thats* a new headache, not the old one returning. I would imagine it can do many things like help heal skin problems, I know burns. and that is lasting effect. It probably depends on what is ailing you but it isn't just a 'feel good' thing for many issues. > > I'm not sold on hyberbaric, I saw a number of patients doing it in > dallas at a different clinic from dr rea's, that treatment is expensive > and didn't seem to help a lot of them, talked to one woman it helped but > not sure the help stays when you stop the treatments... sue v >
