Guest guest
http://www.aseanfood.info/Articles/11017883.pdf Ammonia, in the form of ammonium hydroxide or gaseous ammonia has been used to denature mycotoxins under alkaline condition. Gaseous or aqueous ozone has been passed through grains to cause oxidative deactivation of mycotoxins (Prudente and King, 2002). While ozone works on a wide variety of mycotoxins, it is expensive to produce, cannot be stored, and is a hazardous material requiring extensive safety precautions.
