Guest guest
I'm happy I don't eat shellfish in any form. Not for a long long time. And after reading the article, I'm not planning to again. Thanks much Melody > > http://www.nbc-2.com/story/18793677/fda-urges-markets-to-pull-shellfish-from-sko\ rea > > The more I read, the happier I am that I grow my own food! > > >
Guest guest
That is sure true. You may not have all the variety, but you grow so much more than so many people and having cows as well is something else.   I am so disappointed that FL isn't a summer crop place. I am trying a little but will be saving seed for the fall. It has been a bit more difficult to get out and do anything lately so I admire all yoou do in your circumstances.  Hang in there.\ Carolyn Wilkerson  ________________________________ To: sproutpeople Sent: Thursday, June 14, 2012 10:07 PM Subject: More bad news about seafood...  http://www.nbc-2.com/story/18793677/fda-urges-markets-to-pull-shellfish-from-sko\ rea The more I read, the happier I am that I grow my own food! Guest guest
My sister uses fresh towels every day for the same reason...bacteria growing on damp bath towels, etc. But I look at some of this in a positive way, i.e., the resistance we've developed to all this stuff is what keeps us from getting sick after being exposed to it. Like eating yogurt to maintain " good " bacteria. What did it for me was reading that most of the dust in our house is actually our dead skin cells (a wake-up call to things we can't control). I can imagine that we are exposed to more these days than 50 years ago though.
