Guest guest
Could a hepa and pre filter be considered for bulk samples ? In case I have to test where I am now that is questioning lately health stability.    God Bless !! dragonflymcs Mayleen ________________________________ From: " Jack Thrasher, Ph.D. " <toxicologist1@...> Sent: Wed, August 11, 2010 12:11:26 AM Subject: Re: [] What can off gas and what cannot/Re: Plastic Containers  You can do dust samples and consider as bulk. However, what I am referring to as bulk samples is actual samples the contaminated building materials with visible growth. Guest guest
Hi Robin and Dave, Ikea has a few solid wood pieces (rather than their standard particle board) and cheap. Keep it minimalist, that will reduce the costs, kind of like camping indoors....Craigslist is a great source of cheap stuff, with patience you can find good furniture there.... I found a solid wood bed frame very cheap last year for my mom's vacation rental, but this time around I gave up and ordered online cause we are so busy and need 3 beds... get cheap if you can, but avoid toxic offgassing materials... good luck, sue >Robin, when I first joined this group someone gave me some advice that >probably saved me quite a bit of money. > > " Why would you want to spend more money on a place that cant live in and >will eventually have to move from? Guest guest
Yes, the HEPA filter and filters from room air filtration machines are good sources. I have used both to demonstrate airborne mold, bacteria and their toxins. Jack-Dwayne: Thrasher, Ph.D. Toxicologist/Immunotoxicologist/Fetaltoxicologist www.drthrasher.org toxicologist1@...
