Guest guest
Very Well said, Tug, and I totally agree. I, too, am in my later than mid 50's but left the toxic dump they call a school in 2004. The emotional and physically pain was at time unbearable!! I didn't know what was worse the illness or the fact that they did not care at all. My teaching career ended without a card or letter of thanks and no goodbye to the students. They just wanted me gone! I had even been a member of the church for 14 yrs.!!! It was then that I realized that it was just a business and all they cared about was their money. Even after the Dr. wrote and told them with out any doubt that my illness was due solely to the mold in the building they did nothing. The school is still open with another teacher confirmed sick from the bldg. others are sick but don't know why and MANY kids have symptoms. It really is a horrible nightmare!! The majority of us here are either suffering or have suffered from mold exposure and have a pretty good idea of what your going through. The decisions your going to have to make in the next few months will effect you for the rest of your life, hopefully you'll make the right decisions and you and your family will start to feel better sooner than later. Personally Im in my mid 50's and know that I more than likely will never fully recover from my mold exposure. Whether it's financial, emotional or physical I know I'll always have a scar from this tragedy. Tug
Guest guest
I too will never physically recover from the mold exposure. No one on my end will.   And what you said about the church. Yes most all a business. My neighbor right in front of me has a " Church " he is a " Pastor " but when we put up signs begging for help he ignored us. When we ended up homeless he went to my home and helped himself to our personal property that was sitting outside of the home. He did not even ask. We happen to find out. Our faith too has been tested time and time again. Our families abandoned us.  We are sorry for what you are going threw I was not even in my fifties and have no chance of recovery. Save your lives and listen to what others are saying. We did not have anywhere to go and I got bad so fast I never stood a chance. I got pulmonary fibrosis in 2 months. That is all it took. 2 months. Permanent Damage. I have the lung scans.  I do sincerely wish you and yours the best.....................hang in there. Mayleen ________________________________ From: " ssr3351@...
