Guest guest
Hello, I have been reading the information on this web site for a few weeks now and have found it to be useful, but somewhat overwhelming. There are over 5000 messages and obviously I cannot read them all. I have a series of doctor appointments coming up. The first is with my counselor who is able to pass information to a sex therapist, the second is with my psychiatrist and the third is with an endocrinologist. Before finding this web site, I thought I was the only one who had PSSD. Every doctor I've seen tells me that the medications cannot cause permanent damage. Now I want to prove to them that PSSD exists and hope that they will research it more. I am asking whoever can help to please tell me what I should tell these doctors. What would be some good medications to start out with. What kind of bloodwork needs to be done? Are there any type of alternative therapies that I should tell them about? I need to get the most out of my limited time with these doctors. Any suggestion that anyone has would be helpful!
Guest guest
Best way to prove it exists is to print out these two papers and show them: http://tinyurl.com/m5862 http://tinyurl.com/ngxgk Also, print a copy of the home page of this group, and the Wikipedia article. For more info check the FAQs here: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/SSRIsex/database?method=reportRows & tbl=1 Vornan >> Hello,> > I have been reading the information on this web site for a few weeks > now and have found it to be useful, but somewhat overwhelming. Guest guest
Vornan, Thank you for your reply. I will show them the materials you mentioned. I tried to access the URLs you gave me, but both of them come up with a page not found. Are these correct? Do you have the URLs that these expand to once the tinyurl redirects? Thanks! > > > > Hello, > > > > I have been reading the information on this web site for a few weeks > > now and have found it to be useful, but somewhat overwhelming. Guest guest
Not sure why the links don't work, they work for me. Here are the full links. If you still can't open them, the two papers can be found in the Files Section. http://f1.grp.yahoofs.com/v1/YGfzRFKIyCd4qA38jHiLooZOKQ2KAjETk2hd4S5Mdl5M-13ilgJITXhUodrCP04OYFIZtHHfP1m6tNi9yyvz-A/Persistent%20sexual%20side%20effects%20after%20quitting%20SSRIs.pdf http://f1.grp.yahoofs.com/v1/cHXzRHbyLCYU2ZNh-397JnGcz5akxuR7A572792ncCiLOT7loCB76ijNF5yDHB_7A5uPjcBXpRD2uthUAk-WDQ/Bolton%20et%20al..pdf > > > >> > > > Hello,> > > >> > > > I have been reading the information on this web site for a few > > weeks> > > > now and have found it to be useful, but somewhat overwhelming. > > There> > > > are over 5000 messages and obviously I cannot read them all. Guest guest
I couldnt get the links to work either but i just read the PSSD from setraline case from the file link. That comic -book explaination theyve given for the patients persistent sexual dysfunction beggars belief. The idea that people who are supposed to be helping other people with their minds are capable of coming up with something like that just makes me glad i didnt waste my time going to a psychiatrist over any of this even when my doctor wanted me to and have some other rediculous theory put together to explain PSSD.
