Guest guest
Im a little confused here (again) so please help me out. I went to my Dr and had my testosterone levels checked, once he received the results he said they were extremely low and wanted me to start on HRT. After doing some research and talking to a Dr I came across on the internet who was also exposed to toxic mold say it was ok so I decided to try it. After 2 weeks of being on HRT I definitely feel worst so naturally I've decided not to continue. (Hopefully being on HRT for those 2 weeks hasnt caused any long term damage) I did some more reading and found out that tamoxifen which is also a hormone is reported to kill mold but beings it is a hormone how can it not make your symptoms worst? You've got one specialist saying yes, steroids are ok than you have another saying " NO, stay away from them as it's like adding fuel to a fire " Any and all opinions are welcome Tug
Guest guest
I'm wondering if your testosterone levels are due to the mold? i am quick scanning but we lived in a place years ago that had mold and it took me about 4 years like now to figure it out but my older son has been diagnosed since with kleinfelter's syndrome at first the dr was asking him if i did drugfs when i was pregnant etc i am wondering if this may have been caused from the mold. i really have to think cuz he's asthmatic but he was growing breasts and the dr's kept ignoring him and as a tenager he didn't want me in the room and part of that syndrome is that he has only i male hormone. i wonder if this is an open and shut disease from birth or not? it goes along with the asthma but right now I'm sitting here withoput getting my periood and 2 years ago i thought i was going through the change and both times my tests are normal but my body isn't acting like it. i just got mold tests resul;ts sunday night i accidetly found it last month and am now realizing so may different symptoms i'm pretty sure once revealed the dr's will agree i have had mold exposure for months but not sure if i can really trust them to recognize it. i haven't been able to lok to see if there';s a dr in the phx area that handles mold. can someone tell me please if there is. i am going to shower and get to the library and print some things etc thanks donna > > Im a little confused here (again) so please help me out. > > I went to my Dr and had my testosterone levels checked, once he received the results he said they were extremely low and wanted me to start on HRT. Guest guest
I read an article (darn if I can find it now) written by a Dr Lavine Nagy M.D that stated that the army did a study and came to the conclusion that women are more prone to mold exposure due to their testosterone levels. I've had my testosterone levels checked twice once before the exposure and than again after and both times they were extremely low but since I didn't feel any different I saw no reason to go with my Dr's suggestion and start HRT. > > I'm wondering if your testosterone levels are due to the mold? i am quick scanning but we lived in a place years ago that had mold and it took me about 4 years like now to figure it out but my older son has been diagnosed since with kleinfelter's syndrome at first the dr was asking him if i did drugfs when i was pregnant etc i am wondering if this may have been caused from the mold. i really have to think cuz he's asthmatic but he was growing breasts and the dr's kept ignoring him and as a tenager he didn't want me in the room and part of that syndrome is that he has only i male hormone. i wonder if this is an open and shut disease from birth or not? it goes along with the asthma but right now I'm sitting here withoput getting my periood and 2 years ago i thought i was going through the change and both times my tests are normal but my body isn't acting like it. i just got mold tests resul;ts sunday night i accidetly found it last month and am now realizing so may different symptoms i'm pretty sure once revealed the dr's will agree i have had mold exposure for months but not sure if i can really trust them to recognize it. i haven't been able to lok to see if there';s a dr in the phx area that handles mold. can someone tell me please if there is. i am going to shower and get to the library and print some things etc thanks donna

Guest guest
mold can totally disrupt your endocrine system, and low testosterone can be a result. if you are in phoenix then make the effort to drive to Benson, AZ and see dr. michael gray, one of the leading mold md experts in the country, it's 40 minutes or so east of tuscan. sue v >I'm wondering if your testosterone levels are due to the mold? i am >quick scanning but we lived in a place years ago that had mold and it >took me about 4 years like now to figure it out but my older son has >been diagnosed since with kleinfelter's syndrome at first the dr was >asking him if i did drugfs when i was pregnant etc i am wondering if >this may have been caused from the mold. i really have to think cuz he's >asthmatic but he was growing breasts and the dr's kept ignoring him and >as a tenager he didn't want me in the room and part of that syndrome is >that he has only i male hormone. i wonder if this is an open and shut >disease from birth or not? it goes along with the asthma but right now >I'm sitting here withoput getting my periood and 2 years ago i thought i >was going through the change and both times my tests are normal but my >body isn't acting like it. i just got mold tests resul;ts sunday night i >accidetly found it last month and am now realizing so may different >symptoms i'm pretty sure once revealed the dr's will agree i have had >mold exposure for months but not sure if i can really trust them to >recognize it. i haven't been able to lok to see if there';s a dr in the >phx area that handles mold. can someone tell me please if there is. i am >going to shower and get to the library and print some things etc thanks donna > > >> >> Im a little confused here (again) so please help me out. >> >> I went to my Dr and had my testosterone levels checked, once he >received the results he said they were extremely low and wanted me to >start on HRT.
