Guest guest
Doctor told me to take D3 and that was starting at 5000 and now down to 3000 but there isn't a prescription for it. It is ust over the counter as a vitamin. She does check my D3 level when I get my exams. I just started the B12 on my ownas I had little energy. This does help, I think. My B12 came in just a tad above the deficiency levels but I was low in D...however not enough to warrant prescription .. I was told to take D3 2000IU daily. However since I also went Vegan right after blood tests were done I spoke to pharmacist and she suggested that I also begin taking B12 since not taking any foods that have it except on occassion when I add the yeast. The D that the doc prescribed is probably D2, which isn't absorbed nearly as well as D3. There is a new prescription form of D3, > There isn't enough D in milk to do any good for anyone, especially if you have been diagnosed with a deficiency. > Please read about this - look this up: > > http://www.vitamindcouncil.org/ > >
