This is scary. No one really knows what drugs can do to us. To make

things worse, those that know best often don't want us to know, since

they make money off these pills. Prescribing drugs for someone - even

if they need it - is often like using them as guinea pigs in some

respects. Doing this to children is even worse. Of course, calling

drugs a bad thing is simplistic - they can help and sometimes they are

necessary. But considering how much damage they can cause, prescribing

them should be done way, way more considerately. This whole

pharmaceuticals mess is a sad example of where free market economy (in

combination with ignorance) falls short.
