Guest guest
Sorry, last post sent itself before I could write anything Good ol' AOl! Anyhow; my visual difficulties came right with onset. Could not scan, like supermkt shelves, or 2 texts next to ea. other, without feeling really weird and finally anxious, sick, and tired. Could not read much. Went to eyedoc (MD), she said I had a known neuro defect. It gradually cleared up to where I forgot about it. Guest guest
Peggy, Was the result and maybe a printout included for the $8.95, or did you have to pay the $50 for the results of the test? I'd love to take the test online and send it to Dr. Cheney, rather than try to get there before my annual visit in November, but I don't want to pay $8.95, to be suckered into my money to get the results. Do you know in which way you failed the test? or is that all the info you get - pass or fail - and what would that mean? I have had bad eyesight since I was 7, along with severe astigmatisms, and have worn contacts since I was 10, so have battled strange problems with my eyes for years. When I developed migraines in my 20's I used to get an aura just before they would start, but as they became more and more frequent and then daily, the auras disappeared. Somewhere along the lines I developed floaters, sudden blurring then clearing (but always attributed it to my contacts getting dry, or allergies), so perhaps did not pay as much attention to it as I should have. Still have floaters and off and on blurriness, and reading is very difficult still. Also bright white paper and dark black ink is a sure prescription for a migraine. Used to love to read, and miss it dearly. Donna in NC VSC Test > I'm curious to hear other people's experience with the VSC test at chronicneurotoxins.com. Guest guest
rebecca here. i got no print out from the test (one time test is $8.95; take it three times and you get 3 tests and his protocal, which is nothing and i can send anyone for free). the test was pass or fail. i passed--meaning i have no neurotoxins. or so i thought. but peggy just emailed me and said that somewhere on the website it says that you may still have them, even if yr test results say no neurotoxins. rebecca At 11:30 PM 1/20/02 -0500, you wrote: >Peggy, >Was the result and maybe a printout included for the $8.95, or did you have >to pay the $50 for the results of the test? Guest guest
Yes, I had difficulty focusing when I shifted from looking at something close up to viewing things at a distance. Guest guest
Does anyone know the score ranges of passing & failing VSC online tests from Dr. Shoemaker's site? Thanks, Kathy
