Guest guest
Really bad when you have a whole set. I throw out a skillet every so often when I get fed up with it. The ultra lasted quite a while and i think would be in even better shape if every time it were used it were reseasoned. You can wipe them right out when you finish cooking, but if you let them sit, then it doesn't work the right way and then may have to really wash it well. I usually wipe out with oil until nothing there. Then I reseason and heat it up and then after it is hot and sterilized, I wipe out the oil well. I use EVOO.  Carolyn Wilkerson  To: sproutpeople Sent: Saturday, May 26, 2012 12:36 PM Subject: Re: orgreenic pan  There is a similar pan out there sold by HSN called GreenPan...do not buy. I have had a set for 2 yrs...taken care of it as instructed by manufacturer... & it has completely lost its non-stick properties..EVERYTHING sticks to it! To top things off, the ceramic coating has started to come off. It has a lifetime guarantee, but shipping costs so much...almost equal to buying a new set! I paid nearly $200 for a 15 pc set. As soon as I have the $ I'm buying a decent stainless steel set & throwing this in the trash. It was a wasted of hard earned $! > > > > Just a warning about the website for the orgreenic-my mother ordered from them, and they ended up charging her credit card TWICE, but she never got the pans! She eventually got an email saying " your order has shipped " , but the customer name and address was far different from her " ....been several months now and she still hasn't received a credit OR the pans! I did some research on the pans before she ordered, but was unable to find any valid or credible information to either the good or bad about the pan itself, but I recommend buying it from a store rather than the website. > > > > >
Guest guest
I got my Orgreenic from my local CVS. $19.95. Melody > > > > I have seen the orgreenic pan for a while now in my local walmart. It is sold singly for $19.95. I have been thinking about getting one, but was skeptical that it actually did what it said. I had watched some youtube vids about it but really didnt believe it since I didnt know the people. But now that Melody has posted a vid about it I am thinking about getting one, just wished it came in a larger size. However I do know the website has other items that it offers it in not just the pan that walmart doesnt sell so I might check into those. > > > > >
Guest guest
Carolyn and others. I got it about 10 days ago. I use it every single day for everything. I seasoned it as directed. Nothing sticks to it. I love it. Cost me $19.95 at CVS. I would NEVER buy this from their website because they often screw up orders or charge you double, and sometimes (like what happened to my friend Mila), who bought the NuWave Oven, they sent her 7 of them and charged her credit card for 7 of them. She finally got it cleared up but that really showed me TO BUY IN A STORE IF POSSIBLE. Just my humble opinion. lol Melody > > There is a whole cookware set but unless you needed all pans, itis a bit expensive, though maybe not too much considering $20 a pan. The fry pan is 10 " . I don't know if they have a deep fry pan of 12 " or so. You can check on their web site. There was a blue pan that they supposedly compared but it was cooking bacon while the orgreenic was cooking an egg. Could blow under the egg and it would move or roll up a bit. I'd be worried about it being a bit rubbery as sometimes happens in nonstick. >  > So Melody, would you tell us more about it and how many times you have used it and how you like it? We trust your opinion. If i were going to get one, I am not sure if I'd get it at Wall Mart or on web. For $13.00 shipping I'd bet 2 pans for the $19.99 so that would make each pan a bit less. Prices on ebay were worse with shipping. >  > > Carolyn Wilkerson > > >  > > > To: sproutpeople > Sent: Saturday, May 26, 2012 12:09 PM > Subject: orgreenic pan > > >  > I have seen the orgreenic pan for a while now in my local walmart. Guest guest
I am used to buying on line all the time. Can also call in for an order. I havn't used this website before though. I think there is some confusion because of the special where you get two and you have or ==to order 1 or 2 and it is confusing. I think have to order 1 and then see but I'd contact the company before I placed an order. It is a bit messed up.
