As for pharmacists even considering accepting the responsibility of adding "vaccinating children" ... to their already heavy burden of providing "error free" medications to .. children as well as adults .. consider the following excerpt from the book "To Err is Human .. building a safer health system" .. authorized by .. none other than ..the prestigious Institute of Medicine: Page 39: (Bold and Italics mine) "In a recent investigation of pharmacists, the Massachusetts State Board of Registration in Pharmacy estimates that 2.4 million prescriptions are filled improperly each year in Massachusetts. 88% of the errors involved giving patients the wrong drug or the wrong strength" I think pharmacists ought to first address THIS problem .. before accepting the responsibility of providing error free vaccinations to any child .. let alone a child 9 years old.
