The advice usually given by careful people like Listmomma Bev is: start with small amount and gradually increase, as there could be a detox reaction if you are a very polluted persona! I would personally throw such advice to the wind, reckless person I am, and drink lots as often as I can lay my hands on a drink. SInce it's not alcohol, you might become a Kombuchaholic at worst. Truth of the matter is: there is nothing written in stone. It's completely up to you. Always remember, that Kombucha is NOT a drug but a good drink to be enjoyed. I like ordianry cups of tea, of course, but Kombucha is " tea gone to glory " , and that makes it extra good! , enjoy! Guest guest Posted July 26, 2012 Report Share Posted July 26, 2012 As to WHEN I never figured that one out, just drank it when I felt like it, but as to HOW MUCH - start small perhaps 2 oz or less, and gradually build up to the larger amounts. 0 My first batch some 20 odd years ago I swigged down a full 12 oz and went into a rather uncomfortable detox reaction. No harm done so travel at your own risk.
