Guest guest
Someone might have answered, They're the tall towers w the highest voltage lines. Here's info from Australia, can't find the same here, no surprise. http://www.cancercouncil.com.au/editorial.asp?pageid=252 Transmission lines are the powerlines on large steel towers, and distribution lines are the powerlines on smaller concrete or wooden poles on road reserves. The strongest magnetic fields are produced by the transmission lines, but distribution lines that carry a lot of electricity can cause quite strong fields too. The amount of EMF from a powerline falls as you get further away from it, and once you are 200 metres away, you are out of its range. If you find a high magnetic field in parts of your house, there are things you can do apart from moving house. Sleeping in a part of the house that is as far away as possible from the source will minimise exposure.
