I ahve a friend who cannot afford a remediation. She has mold growing it looks

like in every seam of the wall paper in her rental.. the land lord will not deal

with this beyond wipign it down with bleach mix and saying that fixes it.

My friend is very sick. Moved from a moldy damp basement apt to this little

house.. didnt think to pay attention to the mold.

Some of the wallpaper is peeled back and you can see the mold seems to

been./have been growing on the backing of the wall papaer and not the wall (she

sprayed some fogger type antifungal that begins witha c). YOu can seem seams

along the ceiling and flooriing where the wall paper ends and there is an

accumulation of mold there as well.. all long the edge and in some places

growing up from the edge and smudge like on the wall.

She is sick with a lyme diagnosis. I think she has a positive test so lyme is a

factor but it seems mld may be as well. She is requesting the HLA testing next

MD visit.

She plans for her fiance to remediated wearing a suit, googles, etc, using an

austin air, window opening, take down wall paper and spray-fog with the C

substance. Tarp will be put down on the floor..

Any thoughts as to how they can deal with this? Very little money.

She is thinking about an ERMI from bio assured which will cost 250$. I rightly

or wrongly suggested the HLA typing and the ERMI.. if she has one of the HLA

types and the ERMI is loaded then the house may be loaded as well and maybe its

not worth the money it will take to remediate or the danger of distrubing more

mold..???

She would have to then find a legal way out of her house and then nneed to use

the money to find a new place.. trying to find the cheapest most sensible and

doable solution.

Thanks so much...

Robin
